And the journey doesn't begin in a modern, comfortable, four-wheel drive vehicle, but in a car that EVERYONE has their own stories to tell: a historic VW Beetle. Now it's time to save the date and block your seat!!! In a VW Beetle from the 1970s, we'll be traveling across South America in the Southern Cone in 2024. From the Atlantic to the Pacific. From Florianopolis to Santiago. From Brazil via Uruguay and Argentina to Chile. Almost 4,000 km in 13 days. Or back. East-West Passage: Departure: October 5, 2024 in Florianopolis (Brazil). Arrival: October 17, 2024 in Santiago (Chile). West-East Passage: Departure: November 3, 2024 in Santiago (Chile). Arrival: November 15, 2024 in Florianopolis (Brazil). The two specified periods are still offered as scouting tours. Not everything will be perfect, but the adventure will be all the greater and the price lower. Our scouting package includes: Accommodations in a double room including breakfast from October 5, 2024, to October 17, 2024, or from November 3, 2024, to November 15, 2024, in ***/**** hotels, depending on regional availability. The vehicle (a 1970s VW Beetle, two-seater, raised ground clearance, CB radio) includes fuel costs and insurance. Support vehicles with German-speaking tour guides and two local guides/mechanics.
