BAJA ALPINA 2026

That was the 2nd edition of the legendary Alpine tour.

June 21 to June 26, 2026

BAJA ALPINA 2026 – Six days. 1,300 kilometers. One team.

Some trips take you to beautiful places. Others change your perspective on adventure.

14 air-cooled classic cars from Germany, Italy, France, and Poland. Six days, about 1,300 kilometers, and up to 110 kilometers of off-road driving each day through the Western Alps.

The lineup of participants ranged from a stock Beetle to a thoroughly modified Baja-style conversion. The vehicles, experiences, and driving styles were just as diverse.

The route combined some of the best sections from 2025 with numerous new tracks. High mountain passes, narrow valleys, gorges, gravel roads, and changing trail conditions provided new experiences every day. The weather cooperated, providing ideal conditions for long, varied stages.

This year, the entire group made a conscious decision to drive together as a team. Fourteen vehicles formed a single team. Breakdowns were resolved collectively, tools and spare parts were shared, and no one was left behind. It was precisely this blend of challenge, camaraderie, and shared joy of driving that made the tour so special.

Along the route, there were once again many encounters—all of them positive. Hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists, other classic car groups, and even drivers of modern sports cars reacted with interest, a greeting, or a smile. Time and again, brief conversations and spontaneous photo opportunities arose.

The BAJA ALPINA 2026 was demanding, intense, and full of special experiences.

We’ll continue with this format in 2027 as well. The next edition will once again combine tried-and-true highlights with—above all—entirely new routes.
